Day 3 of Remote Learning

Day 3 of Remote Learning

Greetings, ARCS Families, on this Feast of Saint Joseph!

Hoping that Day 3 of RL is going well for you!  Thank you for all that you are doing!  As I have shared all along, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers if you have any questions or concerns.

I cannot speak highly enough of all that our teachers have been doing these days.  Many have worked over 10 hours each day making sure that they are responding to their students, to you, and to my communication with them.  They continue to plan lessons and they are holding your children in prayer each day.  I have deep gratitude for them.

Please remember to let your child’s teacher know that they are “present” each day.  Students in Grades 5-8 know how to do that in Google Classroom.

As of today, there has been no further guidance from the Office of Catholic Schools regarding the opening of school.  Principals have a Zoom chat later this afternoon with Dr. Watson, our superintendent, and I am sure that we will be given an update.  I will communicate that to you tomorrow.

Pope Francis has requested Catholics across the world to pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary today as a way to draw our hearts and prayers to God.  Possibly, you might want to consider doing that with your children.

Below is the link for our Remote Learning Update #3.

Thank you, again, for your support, encouragement, and prayer during these days.

Please know of the gratitude that I have for you and all that you are doing to help your children through these days.  You are very much a part of my daily prayer!
