Remote Learning Day 9

Remote Learning Day 9

Greetings, ARCS Families!

It is Day 9 of Remote Learning and I hope the day has gone well for your children and for you!  I hope that you know how very much the ARCS staff misses your children each and every day.  We continue to hold your families in our prayer and we pray for all those affected by the cornavirus:  those who are sick, health care workers, first responders, folks who deliver food, supermarket workers, and all who are helping us to get through these days.

The 3rd Marking Period closes on Friday, April 3.  Please make sure that your children have completed all of their work.  If you are unsure, go into RenWeb to check their assignments.  ParentWeb will close on Thursday afternoon so that teachers can work on report cards, which will be distributed on Wednesday, April 8.

Some students will be taking summative assessments during this time of remote learning.  It is important for them to remember that the same procedures in the classroom are in effect now.  Students’ work must be their own work and not the help of other students or parents.  This is very important and I ask that you help your children to remember this. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Congratulations are extended to Joey Bolger, 6th Grader, who received Honorable Mention in the South Jersey Science Fair for his project, “Caffeine Crazy.”  Way to go, Joey!  Thanks are also extended to Mrs. Naples for the support that she gave to Joey.  Joey’s parents are also commended!

Below are three videos.

The first is today’s Greeting and Prayer

The second is the Guardian Angel Prayer that you can pray with your children at 2:30 or at another time during the day.  Thanks to Hanna Watson, 8th Grader and Student Council member for leading us today.

The third is our “surprise” staff “greeter”.  Enjoy!

Continued blessings to you during these days.  Be assured of our prayers!
