Remote Learning Day 19

Remote Learning Day 19

Greetings, ARCS Families!

Blessings on this Administrative Professionals Day and Earth Day!

Much thanks and gratitude are extended to Mrs. Downey and Mrs. Dixon for ALL that they do to serve our school.  They are truly the GLUE that keeps us together, and I am grateful for their presence within our ARCS community.  We are blessed!

I have loved seeing the Earth Day pictures that have been posted!  We have such a responsibility to be stewards of God’s creation.  It is good to see the students involved in activities that protect and sustain Earth, our common home!  Please continue to post pictures!

Our AquaLeaders, Mrs. Naples, and I participated in a Zoom call today with Mrs. Mary Beth Peabody, who is the director of communication for South Jersey Catholic Schools.  The students and Mrs. Naples had the opportunity to share about their Lexus Eco Challenge, and the many places where the project took them.  The project speaks to the importance of everyone in the world having access to safe and potable water.  While students did an amazing job of sharing their project with Mrs. Peabody, what stood out to me is their own deep understanding of the water issues that face our world, and what they, as junior high students, can do to make a difference!  They have made a difference!  I thank them and Mrs. Naples for their commitment to the Lexus Eco Challenge and for telling their story!
