Remote Learning Day 22

Remote Learning Day 22

Greetings, ARCS Families!

I hope that you had a restful weekend!

It is hard to believe that we have entered Week 6 of remote learning.  At the beginning of Mass last Friday Pope Francis offered a prayer for teachers and students during these COVID-19 days:  We pray today for teachers who have to work so hard to provide lessons via the internet and other digital ways and we also pray for students who have to take exams in a way that they are not used to.  Let us accompany them in prayer.

I am so grateful for this prayer from Pope Francis because it speaks such truth!  Teachers and students across the world are charting unfamiliar waters during these unprecedented times.  They are doing so with much grace and perseverance!

Thank you to our ARCS teachers and students!  My gratitude abounds for all of them!  Thank you, also, to our parents who are journeying along with us.

You received notice from Mrs. Flammer about our weekly food drive that will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  The bins will be outside.  Thank you for whatever donation you are able to make to the South Jersey Community Food Bank.  Mrs. Flammer also shared that we are looking for “special guests” to be part of our daily update.  Please consider recording a message for our ARCS family!!  We would love to hear from you!

Special Guests (8th Grader Prayer Partners!  Thank you!)

Let us continue to ask Jesus, healer of all, to stay by our side in this time of COVID-19.  May Jesus lift us up and give us strength to carry out His compassionate love to all.

With much gratitude,

Joan Dollinger
