Remote Learning Day 30

Remote Learning Day 30

Greetings, ARCS Families!

We are on our 29th day of remote learning!  It is a bit rainy today, so maybe your family can play some indoor games!

Today is Nurse Appreciation Day!  Many thanks are given to our school nurse, Mrs. Mary Beth Abate, for the great care that she extends to our students.  We are also grateful to the nurses in our ARCS community and to nurses everywhere!  You are our superheroes, especially during these COVID-19 days.  Blessings on your day!

Today we distributed our March Let Your Light Shine, Forgiveness, awards through Zoom!  It was wonderful to see the students and their parents!  Students who received this award consistently demonstrate an ability to accept an apology from someone who hurt them, and who are able to let go of the desire to get even with someone.  In everything that Jesus teaches us we know that God forgives us because we have forgiven others.  The following students received the Forgiveness award:  PreK 3:  Molly Lenhardt; PreK 4A: Greyson Somers; PreK 4B: Adrian Stevens; KA: Spencer Manning; KB: Betty DiPilato and Aarush Shah; 1A:  Lyla Fotiades; 1B:  Mason Khatiwala and James Siteman; 2A:  Milly Geisenhoffer and Francesca Miconi; 2B: Cullen Cassett and Amanda Hund; 3A: Gabriela Sabatine and Aanya Shah; 3B: Maryssa Figueroa and Teagan House; 4A: Italia Bozzini, Erin Downey and Jilliane Ficcaglia; 4B: Isabella Pecan, Natalia Russo, and Lily Steelman; 5A: Matthew Brogden, Brandon Landicini, and Anthony Petruzzi; 5B: Mohammed Bility, Sauraya Delphin and Anna Kivlin; 6th Grade:  Addison Metro and Andre Stewart; 7th Grade: Sean DiGuglielmo and Sebastian Vidro; 8th Grade: Leonardo Catona, Angelina Festa and Hannah Sutley.  Congratulations!

Please do not forget that on Friday, May 8, we will be having a May Crowning at 1:00 PM.  This will be live-streamed through our ARCS Facebook page.  I hope that you are able to be a part of this honored tradition during the month of May.  While it will be very different from the past, we are grateful for the opportunity to honor Mary.
