Remote Learning Day 44

Remote Learning Day 44

Greetings, ARCS Families!

We are on Day 44 of remote learning, and I hope that this was a good day for you and for your children.

It was good to be able to share with many of our families today in our virtual field day. I hope that you were able to make the day work for your family in whatever way was best for you.  In looking at some of the many pictures sent in, (Mrs. Flammer is working on a video!) I could see some families doing the games that were sent home; others were riding their bikes; some were taking a walk, while some were on their swings at home. Everyone looked great in their Mary Ellen Schurtz Ribbons of Hope t-shirts!  As I shared previously, the purpose of the day was to acknowledge our annual field day and to do what worked best for your family.  Many thanks are extended to Mrs. Bryz-Gornia for demonstrating some of the games,  Mrs. Giardina for taking pictures,  Mrs. Flammer for recording, and Father Tom for our blessing.

We are currently taking orders for our 2019-2020 Yearbook.  If you would like to order one for your child, please click on the link below.

This Sunday is the Feast of Pentecost, the fiftieth day after Easter.  On Pentecost, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit who is the life and unity of our Church.  Let us give thanks to God for sending the Holy Spirit to us, and let us pray that the Holy Spirit will fill our hearts with love, peace, and joy! We especially pray for the Spirit of God to be with our 8th Graders as they prepare for graduation on June 6.

May we continue to hold in prayer our health care workers, first responders, those affected by COVID-19, all those providing needed goods and services, our families, our teachers, and ourselves.

Please know of my gratitude for your continued support!
