Technology

Innovation and technology are woven into the fabric of every pre-k-8th grade student experience at Assumption Regional Catholic School. Teachers offer technology through daily instruction, use online tools, and help engage students who learn best in other ways. Students learn through multimedia that engage their senses and make learning fun!

Our students become future ready through digital learning and personalized learning experiences. We are confident that our students will learn the skills to become globally competitive and achieve success in school, career and citizenship.

Assumption Regional Catholic School is a Common Sense School

Common Sense, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of digital media and technology, has recognized Assumption Regional Catholic School as a Common Sense Digital Citizenship Curriculum.

As a Common Sense School, we are committed to deep implementation of the Common Sense Digital Citizenship Curriculum.  Earning the Common Sense School badge is a symbol of our school’s dedication to helping students think critically and use technology responsibly to learn, create, and participate.  Students learn that Gospel values extend to online and electronic environments.

ARCS has been using Common Sense Education’s innovative and research-based digital citizenship resources, which were created in collaboration with Dr. Howard Gardner of the GoodPlay Project at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  The resources teach students, educators, and parents tangible skills related to Internet safety, protecting online reputations and personal privacy, managing online relationships, and respecting creative copyright.
